| BUSINESS AND PERSONAL (LIFE) COACHING |
Life - the great journey. How much greater could it be if you have someone working with you who is 100% committed to your success? In today's world, the journey is filled with change. Changes in career and work situations, relationships and self image.
Through a 12 session process working one on one, you'll discover where you are, and achieve results as you move toward where you want to be. With greater clarity in your life, you'll grow through the changes rather than be overwhelmed by them. With over 20 years experience in teaching, training and business, I am well qualified to facilitate your new journey.
Working with you (our client) we set 3 powerful goals that will be the primary focus of our coaching series. The series is 12 x 1 hour sessions usually once a week. Ideally these goals will be from different areas of your life in order to ensure balance.
Areas that we have worked on with our clients in a corporate/business context include:
- Staff performance issues
- Improving communication
- Increasing revenue
- Starting new businesses
We have also worked on a wide range of personal areas, including:
- Writing a novel
- Managing Bi-Polar Disorder
- Improving relationships
- Working out the ideal career / lifestyle / place to live...
- Personal fitness, health and weight loss
Significant improvements have been achieved in all areas above, often within a couple of sessions.
Make an investment in yourself - call for a no obligation, free trial session.

Having a coach challenges and sometimes alters your perception of yourself, your behaviours and your habits. Don't expect a coach to confirm the status quo! The coaching process is about change, positive personal change, that will have benefits beyond the 12 weeks of the coaching series and the achievement of any goals. For me the biggest outcome from my coaching was becoming 'unstuck' and at last moving forward on some key areas of my life instead of doing a lot but getting nowhere. Christa MI feel strengthened both in my achievements to date and confidence in my ability to achieve goals in the future....The methodology of coaching is simple yet challenging; confronting at times yet rewarding; structured but open-ended as well. John M
There were a number of personal issues which had a strong influence on my progress, and at no stage did Laurence do more than look for means to assist me see a way through. He gave me an immense amount of confidence in my own abilities Stretch me he did, but unlike the Spanish Inquisition, in the most subtle and progressive ways. Richard J
Thank you for being pushy when I needed to be pushed and most especially for your encouragement in the process of finding out who I am and what the most important things are to me. That is so valued. Marianne B

Expert push Ben Wyld Date: 15 Aug 2001 Publication: Sydney Morning Herald Section: My Career WHY BUSINESS IS EMBRACING LIFE COACHING A life coach can help you realise business and personal ambitions, from gaining a competitive edge on the corporate ladder to getting fit.
The modern boss is looking for help Jennifer Hewett Date: 13 Apr 2001 Publication: Sydney Morning Herald Section: Business As chief executive of Lion Nathan, Gordon Cairns has an extremely full schedule. And there's one lengthy appointment every week that he never misses. It's with his coaching psychologist, Tony Grant. "I find it the most stimulating part of my week, it's like a mental massage," Cairns says enthusiastically. "I think for people like myself who want to improve leadership skills, it's possible to get to a certain point and beyond that you need professional help. "It's like athletes. If they want to take a quantum leap in their performance, they get a coach."
Coached eggs Pam Kershaw Date: 29 Feb 2000 Publication: Sydney Morning Herald Section: Supplement In simple terms, it involves the coach working with the client to set goals, devise a strategy to reach them and put that strategy into action. The coach then acts as a sounding board and works with the client on a weekly basis to keep them focused on their goals.
A life less ordinary Amy Delore Date: 28 Jul 2001 Publication: Newcastle Herald Section: Saturday Magazine Life coaching is a more recent addition to the self-help genre. For those who find it difficult to draw inspiration from a speaker while sitting in seat 2023 of a cavernous auditorium, or agree with the theories espoused in the books but can't find the motivation to put the words into action, it offers a more intimate method of unlocking one's potential.
Someone to watch over you Mark Chipperfield Date: 09 Oct 2000 Publication: Australian Financial Review Section: Boss Sydney scriptwriter Robin Richardson believes coaching has dramatically influenced his career, his relationship and his general health. His first film script is with an agent in the US, with another in the pipeline. "My life has changed completely in the last 15 months," he says. "I'm now in control of my life. I can't control outside events, but I'm master of my own destiny."
In search of the A-grade life coach Deirdre Macken Date: 08 Jul 2000 Publication: Australian Financial Review Section: The Fin It takes special skills to help someone achieve personal or professional goals.
Imagine a motivational seminar that lasts for months. Or imagine having a psychologist on tap, someone who will - at the ring of a phone - help you sort out problems and attain life goals without spending time on the messy childhood bits. Or, picture a good friend, a wise friend who's been through a bit, who will grab you by the shoulder and say, "Do it, do it now, you can do it!" and you know he's not going to knock on your door next week wanting to share his problems.
Put them together and that's what a life coach looks like.
Coach for life Paula Goodyer Date: 13 Aug 2000 Publication: Sun Herald Section: Sunday Life Are you a candidate for life coaching? If you answer yes to the following questions, says Tony Grant, you might benefit from coaching. * Do you have a niggling sense of dissatisfaction with your life? * Have you tried to better some area of your life - to be more productive at work or improve your relationships, for instance, without much success? * Are you open-minded and willing to take on suggestions from someone else? * Are you willing to work to make changes? * Are you prepared to be honest about thoughts and your feelings? * Can you afford it? Costs range from $75 to $250 an hour, with an average hourly rate of around $150. ...If the results are beneficial then the money is negligible in relation to the rewards.
